Crystal healing and Gardens.

Every year I tell myself this will be the year I have a true garden. The idea of growing my own fresh produce all summer is so delightful. The first two years at our house we were too busy to tend to a garden. The third and fourth we had minimal plants in buckets on the porch as a porch garden. This worked out well for what we needed at that time, but this year it’s time for a real upgrade.

We are working with two large stock tubs and making raised garden tubs! This will give opportunity for new things in our garden and a little ease while maintaining them. Due to colder weather our garden is getting a late start, but none the less I plan to incorporate my love for crystals alongside my garden.

How can crystals be a support to a summer garden?

Grid your garden: I love doing grid work, which if you have been a part of my Facebook or Instagram page you will be aware of. I love using tumbled stones to create patterns to raise energy for an intension. You can do the same thing for your garden. Placing a tumbled stone at the corners of your garden to raise the frequency of growth and abundance for the garden. Use points to direct the energy in a pattern that connects to the whole garden. You can activate this grid at the beginning of the year and deactivate after the last harvest in fall.

Use crystal infused water to water your garden: Something often practiced in crystal healing is crystal infused water or crystal elixirs. Which is where you place crystals in your water for a period of time to attune the water which is a strong conductor of energy (The same reason they say if it’s storming outside and lighting is near your house it can be conducted through the water if you’re taking a shower). I like to place a crystal or two in my watering can and refill at night and then go around and water my flowers and garden with the infused water the next day. The water will be programmed with intension for health for my plants.

NOTE: PLEASE BE CAREFUL USING CRYSTALS IN WATER. Always check multiple references regarding the type of stone you are placing in water, if the stone is low on the Mohs hardness scale it can dissolve. If it’s a stone which has a chemical that reacts with water you can also create a toxic water. There are MANY resources online regarding water safe crystals and stones.

Crystal Garden Sticks/ Prayer Sticks: I love writing prayers on everything. Including my garden and you can mix that intension of the prayer up with supporting stones! Take a small plant of wood and paint/burn your prayer on the wood. Then glue stones on the stick to enhance the energy of the prayer. Place within your garden for a little extra energetic support! It’s a sweet practice and beautiful to do with kids to get them mindful of how powerful prayer can be. It also gives them an opportunity to learn what stones support plants and growth.

You can get pretty creative with these ideas, I bet you now are wondering: What stones are good for plants and growth that I can use in my own garden?

Some of the best stones for plants and growth include:

· Aventurine:

Aventurine is a green member of the quartz family and is green due to fuchsite parties in the chemical makeup. This stone can range from Deep Green to a pale green and sometimes has bands of pyrite within it. Aventurine is not only a stone which enhances the lift force for growth for plants but also brings luck for your harvest. It’s often used in prosperity work and can be an ally in calling in financial abundance and landing new career endeavors. Green aventurine connects you to your heart space and the heart chakra, being a ally for heart illness.

· Green Moss Agate:

Green moss agate is a member of the Chalcedony family, it tends to have quartz swirling in the makeup. Due to the common occurrence of having quartz within this chemical makeup the stone has the same hardness as quartz. This stone looks as though it has moss embedded within it but that plant like matter is actually dendritic inclusions of manganese and iron.Even though it’s not moss within the stone, it is known as an ally to the earth element. Moss agate is considered a communication stone for the plant kingdom. It can advise why a plant is growing weaker and how to help it get stronger.Moss agate has been called a birthing ally for women going through child birth, this can also connect to your garden as it promotes ease in birthing new crops.

· Clear quartz:

I love using clear quartz to enhance or amplify things. In this case we are amplifying the amount of harvest and crops within the garden. Quartz is a weather safe stone you can place within or around your garden beds to raise the frequency of production. In particular if you plan to grid within your gardens, use clear quartz points to direct how you want your grid energy to map within the beds. You can bury your quartz points or leave them on the surface to see their beauty.

Crystal energy can be incorporated in all areas of your life. Including the plant world inside and out. You can also put little tumble stones in your potted indoor plants and place generators or spheres in areas you keep multiple plants. They are normally very well received and can complement the areas energy beautifully.

Remember gemstones are a subtle form of energetic influence. If you work at incorporating them into the basics of your life you will find making big shifts are easier and more common.

Happy Gardening!
